From New Cumberland, PA, John Scheaffer came to New York City in May 2000 and honed his craft as a songwriter while pulling graveyard shifts as a tape operator at a midtown post-production facility. After several home/ studio recording projects, Scheaffer finally assembled a band and released the self titled “Ceramic” EP.

The EP was co-produced and engineered by Charles Newman and Tom Rogers. Ceramic can be seen regularly in New York City’s live music venues and on tour in America and Europe.
